Barn among finest buildings last 25 years

The multifunctional barn in Noordlaren (NL) was published in the anniversary edition of the Jaarboek van Architectuur (Yearbook of Architecture). This places the Multifunctional barn as one of the finest projects of the past 25 years. A special committee of the Yearbook has examined the many hundreds of buildings built in recent years and has made a selection of 10 buildings. Including the multifunctional barn. Besides the Multifunctional Barn also  the Poplar Garden shed is published in the Yearbook 2011/2012.

Day Activities Center nominated for award

‘s Heerenloos’ Day Activities Center the ‘Duinstrook’ has been nominated for the Gouden Piramide. Led by government architect Frits van Dongen, the jury nominated 5 projects out of  69 entries for the Gouden Piramide 2012, the state prize awarded each year for excellence in commissioning work in architecture. The architecture of the Day care, designed by Onix, is based on the perception  of the clients. The annually awarded Golden Pyramid consists of a sum of fifty thousand euros, and a trophy. The winner will be announced Nov. 24 during a television program of the dutch broadcasting network AVRO.
