‘s Heerenloos’ Day Activities Center the ‘Duinstrook’ has been nominated for the Gouden Piramide. Led by government architect Frits van Dongen, the jury nominated 5 projects out of 69 entries for the Gouden Piramide 2012, the state prize awarded each year for excellence in commissioning work in architecture. The architecture of the Day care, designed by Onix, is based on the perception of the clients.
The annually awarded Golden Pyramid consists of a sum of fifty thousand euros, and a trophy. The winner will be announced Nov. 24 during a television program of the dutch broadcasting network AVRO.
