Huttree

This pavilion is based on the design of the Compact Cube, realized in 2010 in Veendam. Both projects try to make more with less. The Huttree was part of a Hutfestival on a railroad yard in Tilburg. The design makes a statement to introduce more trees in the city. The inversed situation of a tree in a hut, instead of a hut in a tree, turns the tree into a special element. The hut is an ode to the tree.
